After 4 days of rain, Sun made an appearance

Mossy lawns at bus stop

Alright, a break from saving Earth! I took a stroll today around my house and took some shots. It’s been raining non stop for past 4 days and it is evident from some of the shots.

Everything here grows like nuts – moss is everywhere (in fact lawns have more moss then grass) and because of the mild weather, we had flowers blooming mid-February. Now, at the end of March, everything is blooming – cherry trees, roses, tree buds and I have even seen big trees on our street with huge flowers – I mean huge. The size of cantaloupe. When there is sun, there is always an award-winning sunrise and sunset. The combination of heavy clouds, rain and sun make for unbelievable contrasts and out-of-this-world colours. It’s really beautiful here and I am blessed to call this place my home.
